From tryout night to the first practice
Step 1
Reserve your spot online. It’s free, and registering early helps us plan groups.
Step 2
Come Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23, 5–7pm at Cyprus High School. Coaches evaluate every player.
Step 3
We reach out with the team that fits your son. Invites go out after the tryouts.
Step 4
Accept your invite, join practices with your team, and get to work.
Every player who joins Granite Valley gets access to the following programming. Tap play on each card to see it in action.
Tryouts are open to boys in grades 5–8. No club experience is required — players come to us from rec leagues, from school teams, and from never having been coached at all. Every player who tries out is evaluated.
Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23, 2026, 5–7pm both days, at Cyprus High School, 8575 W Cordero Dr, Magna, UT. Come to both nights.
Coaches run skill work and small-sided games so they see how each player actually competes, not just how he drills. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
Registering for the tryout is free. If your son is offered a roster spot, base monthly dues are $170, which covers two team practices per week, two skills training sessions, and online development content. League fees and jerseys are separate.
Roster invites are sent after the tryouts. We’ll reach out with the team we think fits, and you decide from there.
A basketball, a water bottle, basketball shoes with non-marking soles, and athletic clothes.
Email support@unitedaa.org and let us know. Register anyway so we have your player on the list.
